We have been married for 35 years and have enjoyed ministry together in Illinois for 6 years, California for 22, and west Michigan for 7. We love to travel, eat Japanese food, and help churches with their programs.
Our newest priority is spending time with our four darling grandsons, Braden (6 years), Joshua (5), Carter (4) and the newest additon to the team, Caleb (1 year).
Jay's present role in the local church is Life Stage Pastor, overseeing a paid team of seven children's ministry leaders. His passion is investing in leaders through coaching and ministry consultation projects, encouraging their growth and ministry. His parachurch relationships have included consulting for Cook Communications, moderating for Leadership Network, serving as an adjunct professor at Vanguard University in Southern Californina and touring with four national children's ministry organizations. He is a regular contributor to Group's Children's Ministry Professional Edition.
Donna has been involved in ministry with Jay in a variety of areas. She coaches women in ministry, is a contributor to Group's Children's Ministry Professional Edition and leads a team at their church whose awesome purpose is to provide support and encouragement for over 350 children's ministry volunteers.
